Monster I’d Like to Fight: Raptech

Monster I'd Like to Fight: Raptech

A raptech is a vicious mechanized dinosaur with heavy armor plating and a spine launcher along its back. They tend to hunt in packs, looking for a lone creature or straggler, to quickly grab the creature and escape without notice. Raptech that can’t setup an ambush use their spine launcher to slow their prey so they can close the distance to make their attack.

The chaotic energy that powers a raptech becomes unstable when it dies. This becomes noticeable as the raptech becomes more wounded and parts of their body will begin to glow red or orange. Once dead, the raptech explodes in a ball of fire.

Unnatural Entity

Raptech are viewed as abominations by nature-oriented factions. Some druid circles and ranger conclaves create hunting groups to track down raptech and similar creatures to destroy them. They view raptech as a threat to the natural order and the ecological environments they reside in.
