Monster I’d Like to Fight: Psycho Sea Jay

Monster I'd Like to Fight: Psycho Sea Jay

Sea jays are flightless aquatic birds commonly found in coastal regions, kelp forests, and coral reefs. These birds are larger than average and exhibit exceptional swimming abilities, often seen playing and hunting in groups.

Their amphibious nature makes them a favored tool of aboleths, who employ them to expand their perception of the areas surrounding their lairs. Aboleths easily dominate sea jays, bestowing upon them some of their psychic powers and protection. However, this charming bond on a simple mind can lead to a psychic break, causing the sea jays to become deranged. These psycho sea jays are eventually released from the aboleth’s control, left to wander in madness. Encountering a psycho sea jay is a clear sign of something truly terrifying hidden beneath the waves.
