When beings from the planes of Celestia above or Hell below appear on the mortal planes, they often leave their touch on the places they visit and the people they interact with. A celestial might bestow a blessing upon a temple devoted to their deity. Conversely, a devil may curse that temple to spite them. A character visiting this temple, depending on their persuasion, could then be affected by this magic, permanently changing them. A holy or fiendish feat would be befitting of a character like this.
Think about your character’s exposure to these magical forces and how it may manifest. See the Divine Manifestation and Hell Manifestation tables for examples.

Your exposure to Celestia’s magic has changed you, granting you the following benefits:
Ability Score Increase. Increase your Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma score by 1, to a maximum of 20.
Divine Blessing. You learn the lesser restoration spell and one 1st-level spell of your choice. The 1st-level spell must be from the abjuration or evocation school of magic. You can cast each of these spells without expending a spell slot. Once you cast either of these spells in this way, you can’t cast that spell in this way again until you finish a long rest. You can also cast these spells using spell slots you have of the appropriate level. The spells’ spellcasting ability is the ability increased by this feat.
Hell Touched
Your exposure to Hell’s magic has changed you, granting you the following benefits:
Ability Score Increase. Increase your Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma score by 1, to a maximum of 20.
Unholy Favor. You learn the darkness spell and one 1st-level spell of your choice. The 1st-level spell must be from the conjuration or transmutation school of magic. You can cast each of these spells without expending a spell slot. Once you cast either of these spells in this way, you can’t cast that spell in this way again until you finish a long rest. You can also cast these spells using spell slots you have of the appropriate level. The spells’ spellcasting ability is the ability increased by this feat.
