The Demon Prince of the Swarm wields a sinister army of insects, with his favored weapon of pestilence being the lowly mosquito. Over countless centuries in the infernal realms of Hell, these mosquitoes have undergone a horrific evolution, giving rise to a more malevolent incarnation known as the boilsquito. Named after the agonizing, fiery boils that erupt on a host creature’s flesh during the larval gestation period, boilsquitoes perpetuate their gruesome existence by inflicting extreme pain and relentlessly seeking new hosts to sustain their deadly cycle.
The gestation period of boilsquitoes spans approximately a week, during which the host creature endures excruciating symptoms, including fevers, debilitating fatigue, and pervasive malaise. As time progresses, the skin becomes a battlefield for this macabre transformation, erupting with clusters of searing boils that grow in size exponentially, nearly quadrupling by the end of the gestation period. Boilsquito larvae thrive on warmth, making freezing and surgical removal of these boils the primary methods for stemming the infection.

Actions
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 1 piercing damage, and the target must succeed on a DC 11 Constitution saving throw or be infected with boilsquito larva. Whenever the infected target takes cold damage, it can repeat the saving throw, ending the effect on itself on a success.
After a week, 1d4 boilsquitoes burst forth from beneath the skin and appear in the nearest unoccupied space to the infected target, ending the effect on the target. The target takes 3 (1d6) piercing damage for each boilsquito created.
