The infamous sorcerer Malachor was infatuated with medusas and their mystical gaze. His obsession led him to an ancient medusa named Sylthara, who’s power was bound into the snakes upon her head. Determined to harness this power, Malachor conducted a forbidden ritual to merge Sylthara’s snake-hair with an enchanted helmet, creating the serpent helm.
As the ritual neared completion, Malachor’s intentions wavered, and a connection formed between him and Sylthara. In that moment, the ritual bound their fates together. Sylthara’s and Malachor’s spirits became permanently entwined with the serpent helm. The helmet, now holds these two trapped within, granting the abilities of both a sorcerer and a medusa.
