Planar Feats

Somewhere in the distant past of your family line, one of your ancestors had a powerful encounter with the Inner Planes. This ancestor’s mind may have travelled through the Astral Plane or their soul could have been disrupted by Ethereal energy, but the result was a transformation to your bloodline which has expressed itself in you. This family trait granted you exceptional abilities and a connection to the Inner Planes.

You can choose from, or roll, on the following table for how this planar alteration manifests in your character.

d8Manifestation
1Your eyes are metallic in color with star-shaped pupils.
2Occasionally, you see vague, misty shapes at the edge of your vision.
3The color of your hair or fur subtly changes shades based on your emotions.
4You sometimes see a faint aura around sleeping creatures.
5When near a graveyard, you hear indistinct whispers in your mind.
6Your skin is iridescent, changing shade when looked at different angles.
7Historical events from the local area will sometimes play out in your dreams.
8You hear a barely audible ringing in areas where the barrier between the planes is thin.
