These ornate goggles are a creation of gnomish inventiveness, designed to grant the wearer a bit of the wee folk’s ingenuity. Coveted by scholar and wizards, they were often gifted to friends and allies of the gnome race. Each pair of goggles is unique, sometimes afflicting their user with gnomish quirks:
- Animal Affinity. You develop an uncanny affinity for small animals. Squirrels, birds, and other small creatures are drawn to you and may approach you fearlessly.
- Curiosity. You become irresistibly curious. You have a tendency to investigate strange objects, fiddle with mechanisms, or engage in long-winded discussions about obscure topics.
- Giggle Fits. In stressful or tense situations, you may suddenly succumb to uncontrollable fits of laughter.
- Insomnia. You find yourself awake during the night more often, experiencing bouts of insomnia or being the first to rise in the morning, eager to start the day’s adventures.
