In the forge-fires of the ancients, the ringwyrm was formed, an artifact carrying the echo of dragons’ souls. With a drop of dragon’s blood, this enchanted ring imparts Draconic speech, bonding the wearer to the language of ancient scales. ‘Tis more than words though; it fortifies courage, mirroring the unyielding spirit of them mighty beasts.
Yet, beyond its magic, the ringwyrm holds further meaning. Dragons gift these rings as symbols of trust to their steadfast followers – from kobold packmasters to devoted cultists – uniting them in loyalty. This ring isn’t just an ornament; it represents the indomitable bond between dragons and their chosen.
Yet, its secrets run deeper. The ringwyrm’s core conceals the power to transform into a pseudodragon, an ally reinforcing the kinship between mortal and dragon.

Ringwyrm
Ring, Uncommon
While wearing the ring, you gain the following features:
- You have advantage on saving throws against being frightened.
- You can speak, read, and write Draconic.
As an action, you can speak the ring’s command word to transform it into a pseudodragon under your control. It acts on your turn and you can use a bonus action to command how the creature moves and what action it takes. As a bonus action, you can speak the command word again to transform it back into a ring. If the pseudodragon is reduced to 0 hit points, it reverts back to a ring and cannot transform again until the next dawn.
